Yoga classes with Hazel Storey

Yoga is not a work out – it’s a work in.

Classes and Bookings

They say yoga is not a work out – it’s a work in. You might start by appreciating the effects on your body, but there are so many more benefits to come your way.

Hazel offers a range of teaching options and partnerships. Classes at her Thirroul studio do change around so please follow us on Facebook to keep on top of details.

Whilst beginners and “rusty” bodies are especially welcome, bookings are essential. Sorry, no walk ins available.

Individuals

Private lessons

You might prefer to practice in private with Hazel based on your own schedule and availability or, as a few “later-comers to yoga” have done, take a few private lessons to prepare for joining in with group classes.

They’re tailored and ease you in.

Personal practice

Hazel designs and teaches personal practices totally for you. Your goals. Your life. Your commitment. This package involves a minimum of three one-hour sessions.

  1. Assessment and identifying your goals, interests and availability for your own practice. Hazel then designs a practice especially for you
  2. Teaching you, your tailored practice that is designed to meet your needs. And making any amendments (about 2 weeks later)
  3. We revisit and revise the practice (about 6 weeks later)

Thank you. I’m feeling a lot calmer. I don’t stress out so much or react. My mind isn’t going 100 miles an hour any more. I’ve found a safe and calm place inside that I can go to.

– Monica

You got me out of my rut and into my life. Thank you.

– Wendy

I’m feeling more hopeful than when we started. I’m getting to better understand my internal self: my body and my edges. I’m going to continue both my own practice and group classes.

Corporates/ Retreats/ Interest Groups

Corporate classes are tailored to suit your employee wellbeing program needs and schedule. Face to face or online.

Hazel is experienced teaching at yoga retreats as well as trauma informed classes for 12-step groups and the charity Frontline Yoga.

Let’s talk about classes for your staff or clients.

Let’s talk about opportunities for your clients.

Allied Health

Hazel has a keen interest in providing support to and via the allied health sector. Students have come to her after surgery and physio; or when other classes haven’t provided sufficient tailored attention for complex needs.

There are opportunities to refer clients for 1:1, to group classes or for Hazel to come to you.

I have really benefitted from and enjoyed Hazel’s yoga classes. I find the focus on breathing into the body and concentration of attention on my presence in my body much better for me than focusing solely on different postures. My body carries the journey of a lifetime and its comforting and caring to my body when I participate in Hazel’s class.
