Tuesday 9.30-10.30am “Prime +” (Active Seniors)
Small sociable classes for active seniors (60 + or heading in that direction). Working on strength, flexibility, balance, agility and equanimity (qualities of yoga for healthy aging). Chair options. 1:1 orientation session recommended before joining class. Max 6 people. Bookings essential. 60 mins. $20 if prepay monthly. $25 casual. Requires min 3 students so students book ahead.
Thursday 6-7pm. “Thrive” General class
Mixed class with asana, mindful breathwork plus resting time to assist with building & integrating strength, stability (balance) & flexibility. For mind and body.
Max 6 people. 60mins. $20 if prepay monthly. $25 casual. Book ahead as this fills up.
Friday 8.30-9.30am. “Fab Fridays” General class
Mixed morning wake-up class with asana & breath work to assist in building your strength, stability. Balance & flexibility for mind, breath and body. Great for those working from home/flexitime & to transition out of the working week.
Max 6 people. Bookings essential. 60 mins. $20 if prepay monthly. $25 casual. Book ahead to secure your spot.
Sunday 4pm-5pm. “Soothing Sundays” for everyone.
An occasional offering
A little less time on dynamic asanas and a little more on the calming, letting go, resting and absorbing aspects of yoga. Chilling and soothing to close the weekend. This is an occasional offering so please advise your interest for the upcoming session.
Bookings essential. 60 mins. $25/session. Min of 3 to run this class so book ahead.
Thursday 9.30-10.30 Trauma informed classes
Hosted by Frontline Yoga
These classes are hosted by Frontline Yoga and free for Frontline workers. Anyone can come along by donation to Frontline Yoga, Australia’s first and only National yoga program for First Responders, Emergency Services and Military Veterans. Details on the Allied Health page.
Individuals – Private Lessons
You might prefer to practice in private with Hazel based on your own schedule, situation and availability or, as a few “later-comers to yoga” have done, take a few private lessons to prepare for joining group classes.
Personal Practice
Hazel designs and teaches personal practices totally for you. Your goals. Your life. Your commitment. This package includes a minimum of three private one-hour sessions.
Corporates/ Retreats/ Interest Groups
Corporate classes are tailored to suit your employee wellbeing program and schedule. Face to face or online. Group or Individual. Hazel also works directly with community groups. Would some yoga help your staff or clients?
Allied Health
Students have come to Hazel after surgery and/or physio or when other yoga classes haven’t provided sufficient tailored attention for their complex needs. NDIS clients welcome.
Workshops / Retreats
Yoga for Gardeners workshop is postponed
We run workshops and occasional retreats (half or full day) on a range of topics (often with guest and partner teachers) that allow you to either discover something new about yoga or to dive into some detailed aspects of regular classes. Details are posted here and on Facebook.
How to book
Book ALL classes and workshops here to ensure that class goes ahead. Please advise your intended payment method in the form below. Payment by bank transfer is preferred and we’ll send bank details on booking. Or pay cash or tap on arrival. Either is good. Group classes are $20 each during your first month. Payment is then due in advance for the month (before or at 1st class) at $20/class (includes one carry over) or $25 if you prefer to pay casual rate. Bookings required for both casual and month in advance. Private classes are $90/hour.
